A physicist and inventor, seeks funding for finishing the production development of a new type of light emitting diode chip. This chip serves as the light engine for any type of energy efficient lighting application. I am looking for a small group of investors, no more than five to raise the $250k required to initiate production. ROI and equity will be discussed in detail upon request. The AC-LED has the capability of connecting directly to the AC power lines and with 2.8 watts of power used, give the brilliance of a 60 watt light bulb. This light chip is dimmable and has a 50k hour life expectancy. By being able to be connected directly to the AC power lines, no voltage conversion circuitry is required. This AC-LED can be used on 120 VAC or 240 (EU, UK) VAC. There are patents pending on this technology. A second high power version uses just 18 watts to give the brilliance of a 250 watt light bulb. The high power version is aimed for the outdoor and street, car park, and industrial lighting market. The AC-LED chip would be marketed and sold globally. I am not that interested in making various lighting fixtures as I am in making the light chips that will be the mainstay for energy efficient LED lighting. One can sell more razor blades than razors.
